Welcome to Archaeology in the Classroom - It's About Time!

Tá fíorchaoin fáilte romhat, welcome to It's About Time! This is a collaborative initiative between Limerick Education Centre and the Department of the Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht. Our aim is to support the preservation of our archaeological heritage through raising awareness and deepening understanding and appreciation of its richness and diversity.

There are two main sections which contain bespoke lesson plans and multimedia resources supporting both primary and post-primary curricula. Take time to explore the latest news and media which will be updated to complement the scheduled series of heritage based articles (based on the Transition Year resource) to be published by the Irish Examiner newspaper from September 2013. The digital version of the articles will also be available on www.irishexaminer.com.
